Barbara Wiehe manages the botany-microbiology laboratory and Moore Greenhouse at Ohio Wesleyan. In that role, she maintains a diverse collection of healthy plants for use in university courses and independent research projects. She monitors the physical condition of plant specimens, altering environmental factors to achieve conditions required by OWU researchers. This includes hydration, nutrient levels, light, temperature, and soil texture, as well as insects and other plant pathogens. She also schedules and conducts tours of the greenhouse.
