Juan Armando Rojas specializes in Latin American literature, with secondary specialization in literary theory, colonial literature, and peninsular literature of the 19th and 20th centuries. A published poet, his research and personal interests include contemporary Mexican poetry, U.S.-Mexico border literature, colonial literature, and creative writing. He is the director of Ohio Wesleyan’s study abroad program at the University of Salamanca, Spain.
