Robert Olmstead is an established writer of fiction (seven novels, numerous short stories), magazine, and journal articles. He is the director of Ohio Wesleyan’s Creative Writing Program. His most recent books are the critically acclaimed “Coal Black Horse” and “Far Bright Star.” He also has published a textbook for fiction-writing workshops (“Elements of the Craft”) and a non-fiction memoir (“Stay Here with Me: A Memoir.”)
