Expert Source: Samuel J. Katz, Ed.D.


Before joining Ohio Wesleyan in 2004, Samuel J. Katz, Ed.D., taught at the middle and secondary level in alternative and traditional schools in New York City and Nashville, Tenn. With a special interest in the history of teacher education, Katz’s doctoral research explored the response of teacher education to the Brown v. Board of Education decision. His other research interests include civic and democratic education, the philosophical roots of contemporary education policy, and parental rights within school choice.
