Expert Source: Christopher Fink, Ph.D.


Christopher Fink’s research and scholarship interests involve health behavior change (especially in relation to physical activity and nutrition), the application of theoretical constructs and principles to the health behavior change process, and the relationship between the Mediterranean lifestyle (specifically Italian) and nutritional/movement behavior choices. Currently, he is collaborating with Oldways, a nonprofit food issues think tank, and the Mediterranean Foods Alliance to generate physical activity recommendations based on traditional Mediterranean lifestyle factors. He is also working on a Web-based assessment of the attitudes and behaviors of Ohio Wesleyan students regarding alcohol and other drugs. He holds professional memberships in both the American College of Sports medicine and American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
