Tom Burns is an associate professor of English at Ohio Wesleyan University. He teaches writing courses and specializes in writing for business and the professions. He also is the director of OWU’s Perkins Observatory and writes regular columns about astronomy for The (Columbus) Dispatch and Delaware Gazette newspapers. He is a frequent public speaker about astronomy.
