A native of Valladolid, Spain, Julian Arribas, Ph.D., is a specialist in 16th century Spanish literature. An associate professor at Ohio Wesleyan, he is chair of the Department of Modern Foreign Languages and has authored books and professional papers on the Spanish pastoral romance and the history of rhetoric.
